A pillow-fight erupted on the ‘events area’ of Northampton’s Market Square at 3 PM on Saturday 4th April.

Scores of mostly young people took part in this event, arranged fairly secretly on Facebook by Northampton Flash Mob.

It was a great laugh, a joyous occasion, and everyone enjoyed themselves immensely.

Luckily the day was fine, many of those who had signed up for the event came along, and so far as we could see everyone kept to the rules and behaved with great good humour.

Congratulations to all concerned for an excellent show which didn’t cost the taxpayer a thing, and which for a few minutes made good use of this massive waste space the Liberal Democrats have given us.
